Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated Athletic Field Superintendent to join our team at Lawn Capital in Decatur, GA. This position is crucial for the upkeep of athletic fields, ensuring they are in optimal condition for use. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment for all. The Athletic Field Superintendent will perform a variety of tasks including supervising and being involved with mowing, spraying, fertilizing, aerating, overseeding, field renovation and construction, irrigation and drainage, daily record keeping at each of our three athletic facilities. The role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and a commitment to ensuring that all areas are well-kept and safe for users. The successful candidate will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail. We currently have three athletic facilities in different stages of construction, renovation, and daily maintenance requirements.

Qualifications
Educational Requirements: High School/GED
Associate/Bachelor's in Sports Turf Management, Golf Course Management, Horticulture or related fields ( preferred but not required)
Experience Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in athletic field maintenance, golf course maintenance, or a related role.
