Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Childcare Provider to join our team at Don Ave Daycare. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for children in a safe environment, facilitating their growth and development through play-based learning. This position is vital in shaping the early experiences of our children.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children in daily activities to promote learning and development.
• Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster cognitive and social growth.
• Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment that meets health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children and parents effectively.
• First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
