Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of flooring materials and installation techniques. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, and install flooring materials such as carpet, vinyl plank (LVP), hardwood, tile, laminate, and other specialty surfaces.
  • Remove existing flooring and prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, patching, or sanding.
  • Follow work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications to ensure accurate installations.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely and effectively.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, contractors, and team members regarding project timelines and expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of old flooring and debris.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols and industry best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionally represent the company at all times.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a flooring installer or in a related construction trade preferred.
  • Knowledge of flooring types, adhesives, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and work on hands and knees for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with moisture testing, underlayment, and floor preparation.
  • Familiarity with commercial and residential installation projects.
  • Certification or training in flooring installation (IICRC, CFI, NWFA, or similar) a plus.
