Who are we?
City Fun Group is an app-based scavenger hunt company that offers a variety of scavenger hunts to customers around the world. With over 500 locations in the U.S., Canada, UK, and Ireland, we provide fun scavenger hunts for people of all ages. We offer 6 different scavenger hunts: Crazy Dash, Wacky Walks, 3Quest Challenge, Operation City Quest, Zombie Scavengers, and our seasonal holiday scavenger hunt called Holly Jolly Hunt. We are a small business with a small team and we’re looking for someone to come on board that will match our energy and passion for helping people have fun and explore! This person would work as a 1099 Independent Contractor and must be comfortable working part time, including evenings and weekends. This position is also a work from home position.
What does this job entail?
Conducting inbound and occasional outbound customer service calls.
Quickly assess customer needs and provide sound solutions in a timely manner.
Provide customers with information about our scavenger hunt service
Solve help desk tickets and emails
Managing multiple systems, programs, and computer screens simultaneously.
Handle inbound customer service live chats and solve problems based on customer needs.
Develop and maintain a knowledge base of our scavenger hunts
Helping the business grow by completing small projects assigned to you that you can do in your spare time, between taking customer service calls and customer service chats.
Ensure the accuracy of the scavenger hunts and report any issues that arise from customer service calls or chats.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who is tech savvy, and familiar with multiple operating systems, smartphone systems, texting, smartphone applications, and social media.
Previous customer service experience preferred
Strong writing, grammar, and editing skills
Friendly, empathetic and patient person to assist our customers
Someone who has a quiet environment and workspace at their home
Someone who has their own computer, headset with microphone, and reliable internet service preferred.
Someone who is flexible and comfortable with working part time which includes working evenings and weekends. Occasionally willing to work more hours to cover customer service during times when other customer service agents are on vacation, at appointments, etc.
