What You’ll Be Doing Leading the design process across pre-construction and construction phases. Driving collaboration with consultants and subcontractors in design meetings and workshops. Coordinating submissions for planning, building control, and sustainability (including BREEAM). Reviewing technical details and spotting opportunities for value engineering. Providing expert design and technical support to project teams. Inspiring, mentoring, and developing junior colleagues. What We’re Looking For A strong background in engineering or architecture. Proven experience as a Design Manager or managing design teams on construction projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. A confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels. Commercially aware, organised, and able to perform under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong IT skills.
