Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Drywall Installer to join our prefab and modular construction team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on hanging, taping, and finishing drywall in factory-built pods, panels, and modular units. The ideal candidate has strong finishing skills and takes pride in delivering clean, high-quality interior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
• Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to metal or wood framing.
• Tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall to create smooth surfaces ready for painting.
• Read blueprints and layouts to install drywall according to project specifications.
• Identify and repair surface imperfections such as cracks or dents.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
• At least 1 year of experience in drywall installation or general construction.
• Ability to lift and position drywall sheets safely and accurately.
• Skilled in taping, mudding, and sanding techniques.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in modular or factory-based environments.
• Ability to read construction drawings and follow layout instructions.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
