Key Role:
Assist Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programs by supporting and auditing operations on a regular basis to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain required environmental operation procedures to ensure company and employee awareness, comprehension, and adherence to approved health, safety, and environmental practices. Develop and maintain programs for monitoring media of concern. Review analytical reports and inspect facilities to ensure local, state, and federal regulations are being followed. Prepare and submit written recommendations to management and necessary government paperwork. Interface with regulatory agencies and a multi-disciplinary team as required and provide work leadership for lower-level employees.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with environmental compliance
Experience communicating technical solutions, practices, and procedures to non-technical stakeholders in verbal and written forms
Knowledge of federal environmental policies, including CERCLA, RCRA, and NEPA
Ability to develop procedures, processes, standards, and specifications
Ability to recognize, evaluate, and develop controls for occupational health hazards and safety concerns
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience working with the FAA
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent time management skills
Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. Work Model
