Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our farm team as a Farm Hand. This role involves a variety of tasks including mowing, tending to horses, fence repair, and general farm maintenance. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with farm equipment, livestock care, and basic repairs. A strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and a positive attitude are essential. The position will be in Morriston, FL 32668.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mowing & Grounds Maintenance: Operate lawn mowers and other equipment to maintain pastures, lawns, and fields.
• Horse Care: Feed, groom, clean stalls, and monitor the health and well-being of horses.
• Fence Repair: Inspect, repair, and maintain fences to ensure livestock safety.
• Equipment Maintenance: Assist with routine upkeep and minor repairs of farm tools and machinery.
• General Farm Duties: Support planting, harvesting, and other farm tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Follow farm safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in farm work or related agricultural tasks preferred.
• Knowledge of horse care and handling is a plus.
• Ability to operate mowing equipment and perform basic fence repairs.
• Physically capable of performing manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn new tasks.

Additional Information:

• Pay rate is competitive and commensurate with experience.
• Will have to go into town to get supplies for the Farm.
• The shift is 7am-3pm.
