Summary Are you passionate about early childhood education? If you love working with young children, join our team at Lawrence Day School as a Floater Teacher! You will play a key role in fostering a warm, safe and developmentally appropriate environment where children can explore and develop essential skills. Work Hours: M,T,W 12:00pm - 6pm & Th, Fri 8:30am - 6:00pm (Additional hours may be available but are dependent on the center's needs) Break Down of Day: ~ Cover lunch breaks for Lead Teachers between 12-3pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & some Thursdays ~3-6pm cover Toddler Classroom on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & some Thursdays ~8:30 - 600pm full day in the Toddler Classroom while Lead Teacher is off Here's why you'll love working at Lawrence Day School: Work-Life Balance: No nights or weekends Dedication: We have served the community since 1981. Duties Supervise and engage with children in a caring and positive manner. Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering, and rest time. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom. Communicate effectively with parents and staff. Follow school policies and state licensing requirements to ensure the well-being of all children. Implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Requirements Warm, welcoming personality. Previous experience working with toddlers in a child care or preschool setting. Must be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about working with young children. Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
