Job Description This position involves supervisory and administrative work in health information management. Responsibilities include quality review of records, ensuring proper coding and DRG assignment to facilitate accurate claims processing, data collection, and quality reporting. There are two levels within this class of positions; all perform related work. Minimum Qualifications RHIA credential from AHIMA with two years of experience in coding and abstracting medical records, including one year in a supervisory or administrative role; or RHIT credential from AHIMA with four years of experience, including two in a supervisory or administrative role; or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) from AHIMA with six years of experience, including three in a supervisory or administrative role; or Equivalent education and experience.
