Job Description
LS Technologies, LLC is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to provide support with the expensing of Direct travel and ODC's and Indirect costs. M ay also be responsible for training team members to develop additional skills and/or improve their existing skills .
Responsibilities
- C ommunicate wit h all levels of the organization to audit and process expense reports
- Facilitate travel approval process, tracking approvals through all contracts
- Track expense report s from submit ted status and follow up actions throughout the review process
- Additional administrative functions within the Finance group
Education and Experience
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting/financial experience with a government contractor
- Bachelor's degree in Business , Accounting, Finance or related discipline is highly desirable
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
- U nderstanding of government contract accounting, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) Auditing standards is a must
- Any years of experience with Deltek Costpoint is a plus
