Job Description

SUMMARY:

In order to achieve the company's operational objectives, standardize and enhance the management of auxiliary materials warehouse, strictly control inventory, optimize inventory management, improve the efficiency of inventory use, control the logistics service system, under the premise of meeting customer delivery needs, dynamic and timely feedback of logistics information to internal and external customers, for special requirements of the customer according to its prescribed requirements to service, enhance the quality of logistics services and satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ( use bullets)

  • Manages and oversees all domestics shipments and international import shipments. Making sure all import shipments into the US are compliance with customs regulation and General US Import regulation.
  • Manages compliance of supply agreements, deliverables, and milestone achievements. Reviews and validates all vendor invoices and import commercial documentation.
  • Responsible to understand contracts with vendor and scopes related to sourcing requirements.
  • Provides full customer service and support to external and internal customers, set as the liaison between 3rd party warehouses, clients and the Company, and resolves any operations and logistics related issues that arise.
  • Manages 3rd party warehouse and carrier vendors. Reviews contract/service agreement. Reviews vendor and warehouse performance.
  • Coordinates with firms, suppliers, and equipment vendors to ensure adherence to contract terms and delivery of contractual deliverables.
  • Responsible for developing/refining order fulfillment and order management process to best suit the company’s needs and manages the order process flows.
  • Manages operation data in company ERP system, such as sales order, invoices, keeping track of stock and inventory updates. Responsible in keeping logs for Bill of Landing (inventory on 3rd party site).
  • Maintains reports and metrics, coordinating with the Finance teams to manage the status of orders, invoices, payments and the operations and logistics aspects for month end closing.
  • Works with the company’s sales forecasting, production planning and inventory allocation.
  • Leads the quarterly internal and annual external audit for logistic and operations.
  • Manages Logistics team; hires, builds, and trains a solid logistic and operation team to support company growth.
  • Identifies and implements constant improvement initiatives in all the processes of the logistics of purchases.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Education:

  • Degree of Purchasing, Procurement, Contract Management, Logistics, accounting, or business

Experience:

  • More than 5 years professional experience logistics.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Familiarity with solar and energy storage components and technical standards.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including an ability to maintain calm and effective exchanges by all parties during stressful situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills demonstrated by clear and effective project plans and executive level reporting that ensure timely action and decision making in time-pressured scenarios.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suites and ERP system.
