Maintenance Supervisor – Chemical Manufacturing | LaSalle, IL (On‑Site)

A leading chemical manufacturing company in LaSalle, IL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations on site. This is an on‑site role, responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities for a team of technicians and contractors
• Ensure work (reactive, preventive, reliability, quality, EHSS, and regulatory) is executed safely, on time, and within budget
• Manage resources, permits, materials, and equipment for breakdowns and scheduled maintenance
• Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting process/equipment issues and lead or participate in root‑cause analysis teams
• Identify and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and reduce downtime
• Oversee and improve PM (Preventive Maintenance) and PdM (Predictive Maintenance) programs, tracking KPI metrics such as schedule compliance, backlog, and project progress
• Ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement and deliver performance feedback to direct reports

Requirements:

• Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
• Strong understanding of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Hands‑on background in chemical or heavy‑process manufacturing maintenance
• Demonstrated expertise in EHSS (Environmental, Health, Safety & Security) and regulatory compliance
• Excellent troubleshooting, planning, and project management skills
• Ability to mentor and develop a diverse maintenance team
