FULLY ONSITE IN CALIFORNIA

We are seeking an accomplished Medical Director, Clinical Development to play a key leadership role in advancing innovative therapies addressing serious diseases. This individual will provide medical direction, oversight, and strategic input across clinical programs, ensuring scientific excellence and operational success from study design through data interpretation. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and execution of clinical development plans and study protocols Serve as the medical lead for clinical trials, including medical monitoring and data review Provide scientific and strategic input to cross‑functional teams across Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and Research Contribute to the preparation and review of key regulatory documents (INDs, Investigator Brochures, Annual Reports, CSRs, etc.) Oversee safety monitoring activities, ensuring appropriate assessment and reporting of adverse events Deliver medical and safety training to internal teams and clinical site staff Act as the primary medical contact for investigators, sites, and regulatory partners Represent clinical programs at internal and external meetings, including conferences and advisory boards Build and maintain strong relationships with external experts and investigators Provide medical and scientific mentorship to team members Qualifications 5+ years of clinical or clinical research experience (academic or industry), with at least 3 years in a biopharma setting Strong understanding of clinical trial design and execution, ideally including late‑stage development Experience with regulatory submissions and safety monitoring Excellent communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills Background in metabolic, endocrine, or related therapeutic areas This is an exceptional opportunity to make a direct impact on the development of transformative therapies while working within a collaborative, science‑driven environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Discover International
