Overview:

SUMMARY:

To maintain all aspects of the building that pertain to the painting trade

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Journeyman (4 years) trade school and on-the job training.
• Knowledge of all materials and color schemes.
• Working rapidly, attention to detail.
• Knowledge of all paints and special coatings.
• Minimum age requirement is 18.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

None

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Preventative maintenance to maintain all of the painted surfaces of the building, interior and exterior.
• Completing work orders as they come in as soon as possible.
• Spray man - spray all types of materials on furniture and cabinets.
• Shop man - maintain all work orders concerning the shop.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :

GED High School Diploma

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to speak and understand English.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

• Indoor and outdoor varying temperatures,
• Working alone or with others,
• Hazards: Dust, fumes/odors, chemicals, various noise levels.
• Working on various surfaces including carpeting, concrete and uneven surfaces
• Working on ladders and scaffolding.
