Job Description
We are seeking a full time medical assistant at a solo-practitioner Pediatric office. You will be responsible for both front and back office work including but not limited to:
-Telephone reception
-Insurance verification
-Collection of payments
-Referrals to specialists
-Triaging patients
-Administration of CLIA waive tests (strep, flu, urinalysis)
-Vaccine administration
-Electronic medical records/documentation

Our small size is a big benefit to our patients because communication with staff and the doctor is readily available. The doctor is also an avid hobbyist and breeds dart frogs in the office where the kids can see the critters in the waiting room.
