Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute PR strategies that support business goals for LG’s Media Entertainment Solution (MS) categories, including TV, IT, Audio, Content Services (webOS Platform) and support for partnerships.
- Manage agency partners, directing them on strategy, messaging and business vision for the MS division.
- Track and manage the distribution of samples for Consumer Media Reviews (CMR) Program across all MS categories.
- Align messaging with global corporate communications and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency.
- Collaboration with XBU and with LG US Social Media Team
- Maintain line of communication with HQ PR counterparts.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze media coverage, campaign performance, and sentiment.
- Provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders and leadership on CMR—providing insights and recommendations.
- Prepare and edit PowerPoint documents reporting on PR activities across MS categories and partner activations.
Creation of Press Materials
- Oversee the creation of press releases, messaging points, media kits, Q&A documents, and briefing materials.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure technical and brand accuracy.
Event & Product Launch Support
- Lead PR initiatives in the U.S. for MS product launches, trade shows (e.g., CES), press conferences, and partner activations.
- Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and agency teams to maximize exposure and impact.
Issues & Crisis Communication
- Monitor public sentiment and manage sensitive issues with discretion and speed.
Media Relations
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, influencers, and industry analysts in the entertainment, tech, and lifestyle sectors.
- Serve as spokesperson when necessary and coordinate interviews, press events, and media briefings.
