SENIOR STATISTICAL PROGRAMMER MACRO FOCUS

12+ months

SUMMARY:

A leading pharmaceutical company on the West Coast needs the support of a Senior Statistical Programmer to support infrastructure and macros programming efforts for the team, in addition to supporting study work. The ideal consultant will have a strong background as a Statistical Programming with specific macro development expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 10+ years Statistical SAS Programming experience in life sciences (CDISC standards, SDTM/ADaM)
• Must be highly experienced in programming macros; i.e., comfortable using double ampersands in their code
• Experience producing global macros for statistical programming activities including creating, testing others' macros, and writing documentation for global macros
• Experience working with a small company without fully established infrastructure is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create global macros for statistical programming activities, testing macros of other programmers, and contribute to writing the documentation for these global macros.
• Produce data checks and patient profiles using company macros and create more macros as needed
• Write specifications for both SDTM and ADaM datasets according to standards
• Following specifications, develops algorithms and writes programs to create datasets.
• Produces data listings, summary tables and graphs using SAS software.
• Independently checks data listings, summary tables and graphs.
