We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. This position involves working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with responsibilities including holidays, on-call, and callback as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confirm patient identity and verify exams prior to scans, adhering to safety policies and procedures.


• Coordinate with physicians to provide effective diagnostic imaging services.


• Prepare patients for scans, explaining procedures to ensure comfort.


• Insert IVs as necessary for tests.


• Position patients safely and effectively, including those with limited mobility, utilizing approved patient handling techniques.


• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC, documenting all necessary components and ensuring correct image transfer to the PACS system after exams.


• Ensure a clean and safe scanning facility at all times.

Requirements:

• Completion of formal training in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.


• Current Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).


• New York State licensure (must obtain prior to starting the position).


• Two (2) years of Level 1 Trauma Center experience.


• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Injection certification (must be willing to complete during orientation).


• Experience with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment.
