Role Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the accurate storing, shipping and receiving of products to meet company standards for safety, security, sanitation, productivity, and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trailers in an efficient and safe manner
• Move product to storage area with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas
• Process orders including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, and wrapping pallets
• Assists in cycle counts and physical inventories, as needed
• Operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner, as required
• Check and verify freight for accuracy and/or damage
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• Conduct operations in a manner promoting safety

• High school diploma or equivalent
• OSHA Forklift Certification
• 1+ years experience on a standup and sit down forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Works well as a member of a team
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation
